Terms and Conditions

1. Services

We provide private and small group tutoring services, delivered online or in person as agreed in advance. Tutoring is academic support and does not guarantee specific grades or outcomes.

2. Payments

All tutoring is billed monthly in advance via subscription using Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled in accordance with these terms. Payment must be completed before tutoring begins.

3. Cancellations, Attendance, and Rescheduling

Sessions may only be refunded, exchanged, or rescheduled if at least 12 hours’ notice is provided before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations or no-shows with less than 12 hours’ notice are not refundable and are not eligible for exchange or rescheduling.
If a session is cancelled by the tutor, it will always be rescheduled or credited.

4. Group Tutoring

Group tutoring is delivered in small groups to maintain quality. Group size and session schedules may change with reasonable notice. Missed group sessions are not refundable.

5. Intensive and Short-Term Plans

Intensive group plans are designed as short-term support and are reviewed after the agreed period. Any change to intensity or frequency is discussed and agreed in advance.

6. Availability

1:1 tutoring availability is limited and subject to scheduling constraints. Continued availability is not guaranteed if sessions are missed or payments lapse.

7. Cancellations of Subscription

Subscriptions may be cancelled with 14 days’ notice prior to the next billing date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. SEND Support

We aim to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities where appropriate. Parents or guardians are responsible for disclosing any SEND, learning difficulties, medical conditions, or behavioural needs prior to the start of tutoring.
Tutoring may be adapted where reasonably possible; however, we do not provide specialist clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic services unless explicitly agreed in writing.

9. Safeguarding and Student Protection

Student safety and wellbeing are taken seriously. Tutoring sessions are conducted in a professional and appropriate manner at all times.
For online sessions, tutoring is delivered via approved platforms, and communication is limited to parents or guardians where the student is under 18.
Any safeguarding concerns will be reported in line with appropriate safeguarding procedures.
Tutoring services do not replace statutory safeguarding responsibilities held by schools or other educational institutions.

10. Students Under 18

For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and is responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision outside scheduled tutoring sessions.

11. Liability

We are not responsible for academic outcomes, examination results, or school decisions, as progress depends on student engagement and effort.
